LIFELONG LEARNING
Teachers’ Workshopeachers’ Workshopeachers’ Workshop

Learning is a life long process. A good teacher is one who keeps himself or herself updated with the latest happenings
and recent technologies which help them in reaching out to the students in much better ways. Drama, Story Telling,
Poetry and small acts go a long way in teaching the children in the most lasting manner. Children love to see, hear, and
learn. Keeping this in mind our school organized a seminar on ‘Creative Learning And Teaching Drama’ for the teachers
of primary and middle sections. The resource person, Kuljeet Singh (Theater Practitioner) explained how drama can be
a very powerful medium of teaching. It encourages adaptability, fluency and communication competence both in the
teachers and the taughts.

Navratri the nine day celebra ons to worship of the feminine divinity ‘Shak ’. During the Sharad Navratri Garba and Dandiya are
performed as a prayer to the Devi. Infact, these two dance forms show the fight between Devi Durga and Mahishasur. The dance
movements and postures are the so ac ons of fight between the Good and the Evil. A er two long years of pain and sadness, KPS
once again came alive with the colours of garba during the navratri this year. This vibrant evening started with the Aar to the
Mother Goddess by the dignitaries of our school. Great music, Brilliant ligh ng and colourful a res made the evening vibrate with
the foot steps of the enthusias c dancers who are basically the Staff members and their families. It was indeed a spell binding
evening and one could feel the divinity showering its blessings on the school. Every member of the Krishna Fraternity loved and
lived these moments of togetherness seeking the blessings of the Almighty Mother.
